The School of Acrobatics and New Circus Arts presents:

SANCA Summer Circus Soirée

Seattle, WA—The School of Acrobatics and New Circus Arts invites you to attend its annual summer open house featuring performances, the chance to interact with circus performers from all over the county, and the opportunity to learn a new circus art, all showcasing SANCA’s mission to bring non-competitive exercise and performance to kids of all ages in the heart of Georgetown. SANCA has much to celebrate in welcoming its brand-new Executive Director and its highest enrollment and scholarship funds to date. The Soirée is a chance for the entire SANCA community to reconnect and expand.

  • Share a glass of wine or a trampoline with SANCA’s brand-new Executive Director, and bid outgoing Executive Director and Founder Jo Montgomery farewell
  • Meet performers, trainers, and educators from the upcoming AYCO (American Youth Circus Organization) conference, featuring the nation’s most talented up-and-coming circus performers
  • Catch a preview of the upcoming staff show on August 24-26 and August 30-September 2 featuring a daring duo trapeze act, double rendezvous like you’ve never seen before, Washington’s only Russian Bar team, and many more, including acrobats and circus artists who have performed internationally, with Cirque du Soleil, and with Seattle circus institutions such as Circus Contraption and the Moisture Festival
  • Speak with kids and adults alike whose lives have been changed by SANCA’s unique approach to fitness at a time when childhood obesity rates have never been higher, and its all-inclusive scholarship policy
  • Take a fly in Seattle’s only flying trapeze tent or learn to juggle with SANCA’s expert circus coaches
